Exports fuel engineering firm growth

DEMAND from overseas markets is driving expansion at a Yorkshire engineering firm.

KOSO Kent Introl has created 18 new jobs as it keeps up with demands from customers in global markets including Australia and Brazil.

The increased headcount follows the firm’s investment in a new 18,000 sq ft operation in Brighouse last year, its third in the town.

Sales director David Limb said: “Despite steady trading conditions in manufacturing, we are continuing to expand the business to meet growing demand for our control valve products from national and international customers amongst the oil and gas, petrochemical and power industry sectors.

“Over the last 12 months, we have made a substantial investment locally, in our most important assets; our people, hi-tech equipment, premises and facilities.

“This is a testament to our ongoing commitment to provide a world-class service to our customers around the world, from our home right here in Yorkshire.”

Koso Kent Introl is owned by Japanese firm Nihon KOSO Co and specialises in the supply of control valves to the oil and gas, petrochemical and power sectors.
