Coffee firm flying high with contract win

WICKED Coffee has secured a contract that will see it providing drinks to the Royal Air Force.

The deal, worth around £350,000 in its first year, will see the company supplying drinks, equipment and barista training ti facilities company ISS which provides services to the RAF across the UK.

Managing director Fergus Walsh said: ““We are absolutely delighted to have been given the opportunity to supply the fantastic men and women of the RAF with their daily caffeine boost.

“Of course we aren’t the only company that can supply good coffee but whilst many of our competitors have been reducing their service levels during the current economic climate, we are continually developing and strengthening our support structure to add value to our business offering.”

Wetherby-based Wicked Coffee has also renewed its ongoing agreement with National Union of Student Services to supply drinks, snacks and equipment for three years.

The deal covers 85 universities across the UK.

Meanwhile, The Wicked Coffee Company has launched a new online offshoot of its main business, aimed at clients who do not require its full service package.

Wicked Coffee Web will offer a site to customers to order vending machines and supplies online.

Traditionally, The Wicked Coffee Company has specialised mainly in servicing large, multi-site clients with traditional coffee machines.

However, the new Wicked Coffee Web service has been developed in response to demand from smaller customers.

Customers can choose from equipment including bean-to-cup coffee machines, snack and beverage vending machines, crockery and supplies such as coffee, tea and sugar.
