Telecommunications expert joins IPF as NED

INTERNATIONAL Personal Finance has appointed former T-Mobile UK managing director Richard Moat to its board as a non-executive director.

The appointment will be effective from July 1.

Mr Moat has spent more than 20 years in the telecommunications sector, latterly as deputy chief executive and chief financial officer of Everything Everywhere, the UK’s largest mobile telecommunications company.

Prior to that, he was managing director of T-Mobile UK. Mr Moat has also held a number of senior positions within the Orange group, including five years as chief executive of Orange Romania SA, two years as chief executive of Orange Denmark, and two years as chief executive of Orange Thailand.

Christopher Rodrigues, chairman of Leeds-based credit lender IPF, said: “We are delighted to welcome Richard as a non-executive director. His financial and operational expertise and international experience will further strengthen the IPF Board.”

IPF operates in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Mexico.
