Timothy Taylor maintains profits

BREWER Timothy Taylor & Co has reported steady sales and profits.
The Keighley-based business, which brews ales including Landlord and manages a series of pubs, saw turover dip by £400,000 to £22m in the year ended September 30.
Pre-tax profits were £2.7m, down from £2.9m in 2010.
The historic brewer began brewing beer in Keighley in 1858 and the company remains in the Taylor family today.
Speaking to TheBusinessDesk.com earlier this year, managing director Charles Dent said the company was keen to grow its successful pubs division.
Timothy Taylor has a portfolio of 17 tenanted pubs and also has nine managed hostelries.
