Law firm acquired by fellow Leeds firm
CRIMINAL law practice Robert Moore Culleton has been acquired by fellow Leeds law firm Grahame Stowe Bateson.
The six-strong team at Robert Moore Culleton will relocate from Park Square in Leeds to the Portland Street premises of Grahame Stowe Bateson, which has six regional offices.
Steven Culleton will join Grahame Stowe Bateson’s criminal law partners, Richard Reed and Andrew Tinning, as a consultant in the firm’s Harrogate office, with the trio offering over 80 years of combined experience.
Mr Culleton added: “Grahame Stowe Bateson’s reputation as a local firm capable of acting in tough cases, often under media scrutiny, is well-earned and one to be respected. This deal is another milestone in its expansion and will further enhance its standing as one of the top private client firms in the North of England.”
The deal comes just two weeks after Grahame Stowe Bateson unveiled a new property and conveyancing office in Middleton, Leeds, in response to client demand.
Established in 1981 by Grahame Stowe, the practice, whose 93-strong team includes ten partners, is acknowledged as one of the most-experienced private client firms in West Yorkshire.
