England’s Test stars bat for Yorkshire business

ENGLAND’S Test cricket stars have been batting for Yorkshire business during the current Headingley Test Match.

Top test names including Kevin Pietersen, Andrew Flintoff and James Anderson took time out from preparing to take on the South Africans to support a number of business events in Leeds.

Most of the Test team were at Savile’s Hall at the Royal Armouries to support England and Yorkshire bowler Matthew Hoggard’s benefit dinner which attracted an audience of around 700 business people.

The event was sponsored by Bank of Ireland and Lee Hayes and his team from the bank welcomed and hosted the team at the dinner.

Meanwhile star player Kevin Pietersen went into bat for Henderson Insurance Brokers to open the new offices of its Henderson Corporate operation.

Henderson Corporate’s new office is at No 1 Whitehall Riverside and is headed up by directors Nigel Harrison, Ryhdian Thomas and Daniel Binks.
