ADD goes west

YORKSHIRE-based data destruction and computer hardware specialist Advanced Digital Dynamics (ADD) is expanding into the North West with an office at Daresbury Science Park, near Warrington.

The Harrogate-based business said the move was part of a wider growth strategy that will see it expand its sales force and warehouse sites in the North East and South East.

The business, which employs 19 people, is aiming for a turnover of £4m this year.

Operations director Julie Pickersgill said: “The new office is aligned with our strategic growth and is key to our bigger plan to roll out and provide clients with a ‘one stop shop’ comprising computer hardware, tailored support and secure data destruction.

“Data and computer security is a massive business issue across the private and public sector – and breaching regulations can result in hefty fines. Our holistic approach means customers only deal with us, and we provide peace of mind by ensuring that all data is destroyed on site and old equipment is securely disposed of.”

The firm’s clients include NHS Trusts, local authorities and police forces throughout the UK. The Daresbury office will have four staff.
