Profits up at Brewin Dolphin

WEALTH manager Brewin Dolphin has seen full year profits increase by more than a third to almost £30m.

The group, which has an office in Leeds, posted pre-tax profits for the year ended September 30 of £29.9m.

Total managed funds were up by almost £2bn to £25.9bn and total income increased by 2.1% to £269.5m.

Chairman Jamie Matheson said: “Equity markets remain remarkably resilient and there is some sign of improved trading volumes since the summer.

“Demand for our services remains firm and your board is confident that our strategy will ensure a successful future for your group.”
 
Brewin Dolphin is proposing a final dividend of 3.6p.
