Commercial property appointments: Senior surveyor joins CBRE and more

A round-up of commercial property appointments.
CB Richard Ellis (CBRE), has announced two key promotions at its Leeds office to service the North East and Yorkshire.
Stephen Raper, of Kirkby Fleetham, North Yorkshire has become a senior surveyor in the valuation team and Steven Taylor, of Bawtry, near Doncaster has been promoted to senior surveyor for the building consultancy division.
Both will be based at CBRE’s Kings Street offices in Leeds.
Joining CBRE in February 2007, Mr Raper’s role will be to continue with the provision of valuation advice to banks, property companies and other corporate clients, including several investment funds in the North East and Yorkshire.
He has over five years of commercial property experience throughout the northern region and will provide advice in respect of offices, retail and industrial premises.
Steven Taylor joined CB Richard Ellis in January 2007 as a surveyor in the building consultancy team. In his role,.
He will continue to work on a full range of building surveying duties, focusing on project-based instructions including commercial and industrial refurbishments and alterations.

CASTLEFORD-BASED building contractor Strategic Team Group has announced the promotion of Andy Coates to construction director.
Mr Coates, formerly construction manager with the company, will assume his post immediately.
An accomplished construction manager and former joiner, he has been a key figure over the last four years in the development of some of the most noteworthy construction and redevelopment projects undertaken by Strategic Team Group.
His new will see him manage a team of contract managers spread across a broad geographical area, as the company continues to expand its new build services throughout the north of England and Scotland, working with registered social landlords and local authorities.
