M&S shops for jobs at Trinity Leeds

AROUND 60 jobs are to be created when retailer Marks & Spencer opens its extended store at the Trinity Leeds shopping centre.
The redesigned store is being extended by 10,000 sq ft, boasting more than 96,000 sq ft of selling space – the size of over seven Olympic-sized swimming pools.
Features of the store will include a new beauty section, a 1,000 sq ft dedicated Autograph department, an extension the Home department, and cafe seating for 200 people.
Store manager Paul Tyler said: “We are thrilled to be in the final stages of unveiling our extended, redesigned store to our customers and can’t wait for them to benefit from the introduction of bigger fashion ranges, a new beauty and homeware offer as well as a second 100-seat M&S Cafe.”
The re-launch of the Briggate store will follow the launch of a heritage and coffee stall at the birthplace of the company at Kirkgate Market in Leeds.
Trinity Leeds is set to open on March 21.
