Tissue Regenix in non-exec hunt

YORK-based Tissue Regenix is looking to appoint new non-executive directors.

The AIM-listed firm, which is developing medical products based on technology which prevents rejection by the body, said today the process was “well underway”.

It follows today’s departure of Alex Stevenson, who resigned along with Mike Bretherton last month.

Executive chairman John Samuel said: “I would like to thank Alex for his help and support at Tissue Regenix where he has been a non-executive director since December 2007. His experience as both a scientist and an investor were invaluable during the early stage development of the company.”

In November the firm launched a subsidiary company in the United States as part of its strategy to commercialise its technology.
