New tenant at former Allied Bakeries site

THE former Allied Bakeries site in Bradford has a new tenant.

The unit on Upper Castle Street off Manchester Road extends to more than 26,000 sq ft and has been let to Northern Pump Suppliers, which supplies pumps and pumping systems to the food, hygiene, water and waste water treatment industries.

The company is relocating from its main 8,000 sq ft premises on Bowling Back Lane in Bradford, along with two other sites elsewhere in the city.

The Bradford office of Eddisons acted on behalf of the landlord Pitcliffe Properties.

Meanwhile, Complete Electrical Solutions, trading as Yesss Electrical, is the latest tenant to be attracted to the Fowler Street Industrial Estate off Wakefield Road in Bradford.

The firm has completed a major refurbishment of three units, extending to 5,000 sq ft to create a trade counter.

Eddisons brokered the deal on behalf of Brighouse Estate Pension Fund.

Elsewhere, a shop in Bradford, previously occupied by stationery and office products supplier Probyns for more than 25 years, is to become a dessert bar.

Eddisons has let the property on Tyrrel Street, which extends 2,261 sq ft, to a private individual, acting on behalf of Exelmar Estates.

Shazad Mahmood of Eddisons said: “We are delighted to have secured strong tenants on long term leases on behalf of established clients.

“It is very encouraging to see both new and existing occupiers taking up space in the Bradford district.”
