New deals for D3 Office Group to help it grow

D3 OFFICE Group has acquired North Yorkshire business Bardsey Stationery Supplies as it aims to boost its turnover.

Based in Hull and Leeds, D3, hopes this deal, along with its purchase of corporate clothing company Diamond Print Express last November, will push company turnover up to over £6m by the end of 2013.

Joint managing director Martin Shaw said: “We’re excited about both our recent acquisitions.

“The Bardsey Stationery Supplies purchase made a lot of sense, in that we can bring a solid customer base into our established site at Sherburn in Elmet near Leeds.

“In doing so we have taken on some experienced members of staff, but have also cut out duplicated overheads and expenses.

“The purchase of Diamond Print Express has added an extra dimension to our business, providing a competitive in-house produced corporate clothing offer to our clients. Sales of workwear have grown by more than 60 per cent since our acquisition and are on target to double by year end.”
