New relationship director joins Santander

SANTANDER Corporate Banking has appointed a new relationship director to work with businesses in South Yorkshire.

Craig Williams, who lives in Sheffield, will be based at Santander’s South Yorkshire Corporate Business Centre in the city.

Mr Williams joins Santander from a Yorkshire-based healthcare business, prior to which he was a relationship director at RBS and brings 20 years banking experience to his new role.

He said: “I am delighted to be joining Santander Corporate Banking. The bank has built a strong reputation amongst businesses and advisers and I am looking forward to working with existing customers of the bank and also developing new relationships with businesses across the South Yorkshire region.

“Santander has a clear strategy to increase the support we provide to well run, viable businesses by listening to their needs and then providing sustainable sensible solutions.

“I’m very keen to start working with new clients and to utilise the international strength of Santander to help businesses in South Yorkshire to flourish.”

Santander Corporate Banking, which has a team of 27 working across the Yorkshire region, currently has a 3% share of the UK SME market.
