Zoopla swoops for VizziHome

YORK property market intelligence business VizziHome has been sold to Zoopla Property Group for an undisclosed sum.
The company is a large online database that collects non-personal data about properties being sold or let.
It was set up in 2009 by Kevin Hollinrake, the owner of York estate agents Hunters.
The business is used by property agents and utility companies to gauge their market share and see when customers are on the move.
Zoopla Property Group said that in the short term the VizziHome service would continue to be operated as a standalone product but that it would eventually be integrated with its own tools.
James Towler, partner at York-based Langleys Solicitors handled the deal on behalf of VizziHome.
