New jobs in pipeline as Search Laboratory opens third office

SEARCH marketing agency Search Laboratory says it will create six new jobs a month over the next year following a raft of new client wins.
Search Laboratory, based in Leeds, also announced it is to open a third office to accommodate this recruitment drive, having taken the keys for a site in Chapel Allerton – the agency’s second office in the area.
The company also has a London office.
The creation of these new jobs comes as a result of Search Laboratory’s new client wins that include PepsiCo, the parent company of brands such as Pepsi and Walkers crisps, cosmetic surgery specialists Transform and Wilkos.
Search Laboratory is one of the region’s fastest growing businesses, having created more than 80 new jobs in the past year more than doubling its staff to over 150.
The agency manages search engine optimisation and pay-per-click campaigns both in the UK and internationally for clients such as ASOS and Boohoo.
Search Laboratory commercial director John Readman said: “We’re excited at the prospect of continuing to create jobs and career opportunities within Leeds and Yorkshire.
“We have enjoyed a period of fantastic growth during the last year or so – testament to the job of our team have been doing for our clients – and we’ve signed up some great new business recently.
“The media is sometimes occupied too much with doom and gloom and stories and while some businesses in the region are obviously not in the position to create new jobs we certainly are – and to any graduates or marketeers out there looking for a career in digital we’d love to hear from you.”
