Three new businesses move into York Science Park

YORK Science Park has welcomed three new businesses to its incubation space – Springboard.

Whitewall Services, Venture North Media and Global Power Search have moved into the space, which is designed to provide a stimulating and flexible environment for early stage businesses while they become established.

Kim Hodgson, business development manager of York Science Park, said: “I’m delighted to welcome three new start-ups to Springboard. They offer quite a diverse range of services and will definitely benefit from being amongst like-minded entrepreneurs who are looking to grow and develop their businesses.” 

Whitewall Services is a business consultancy that helps develop businesses and facilitate growth, Venture North Media is a video production company and Global Power Search is a search business, working with global companies in the power generation, energy and utilities sectors.

Venture North Media founder and commercial producer, Tanya Knight, made the move back to the North from London, due to seeing an opportunity to embrace Northern talent.

She said: “The range and diversity of expertise and the way of delivering creative content is not restricted by a London location.  I’m delighted to be back in the North and am very excited by the opportunities we’re experiencing by being based at Springboard.”
