Double digit growth for Clarion

CLARION has put in another strong performance with a third year of double digit growth.

The Leeds-based law firm, which launched six years ago, grew turnover by 16.5% in the 12 months to the end of May, increasing from £8.4m in the period to £9.8m.

Mark Burns, managing partner, said: “Clarion is an innovative, ambitious law firm with vision. Since our launch, we have worked hard to differentiate ourselves by our entrepreneurial approach and real understanding of the needs of our clients and this approach is paying off.

“Our solid financial performance has enabled us to invest in prestigious offices as well as continuing to develop the team.

“While there have been some improvements in the economy, the legal market continues to be very tough and we expect to see further consolidation amongst our competitors.

“Our strategy going forward is to continue to provide practical, commercial solutions for value-conscious clients. The mix of services we offer is working well with our business, corporate recovery, private client and litigation offerings all continuing to grow.

“We are confident of once again beating our financial targets next year and we will also continue to focus on strengthening our long-term relationships with clients and building an even closer team.”

The firm employs a team of 100, including 18 partners, and last year marked a major milestone when it relocated to refurbished 15,000sq ft offices in Elizabeth House on Queen Street, in the heart of Leeds’ business district.
