Vp appoints new director to replace Cottingham

EQUIPMENT hire business Vp today announced the appointment of a new non-executive director to replace long-serving Barrie Cottingham.

Former PricewaterhouseCoopers audit partner Stephen Rogers will join the board of the Harrogate-based company on October 1 and Mr Cottingham, himself a former senior partner within PwC, will step down after 12 years as a non-executive director next year.

Mr Rogers, who is a non-executive director of Huddersfield building products group Heywood Williams and a trustee of the Leeds Community Foundation, retired from international accountancy firm PwC last year.
