Retailer signs stomping deal with Disney and Hasbro

HIGH Street TV (HSTV) has joined forces with The Walt Disney Company and Hasbro in a deal which will boost sales by £7m.

The move sees a new range of iconic characters line-up on one of the Harrogate-based multichannel retailer’s Stompeez slippers.   

The two year deals with Disney and Hasbro are available across HSTV’s platforms, including dedicated branded space in selected retail outlets. HSTV said it is expected to be one of the top sellers for Argos this year.

High Street TV product director, Lisa Fawcett, said:  “We are delighted that Disney and Hasbro have joined the increasing number of big brands that are benefiting from the unique multi-channel strategy that High Street TV delivers.

“The opportunity that these two brands bring is very exciting and we are looking forward to developing these relationships over the next two years.”

Stompeez is one of HSTV’s top selling products, selling over 700,000 pairs since its launch, having also sold over 11m units worldwide. 

Since its launch in 2008, HSTV employs over 70 staff and markets 130 products, owns and operates three  24/7 shopping channels and products can be found in over 25 high street retail chains.
