Marina plan for former mill site
A FORMER paper mill site is to be transformed into a 32-berth marina after plans were given the go-ahead.
The £50m scheme, which also includes 300 new homes, would be built on the former Rigid Paper mill, next to the Selby Canal and the River Ouse.
The paper mill was demolished after its closure in 2010.
Selby council also granted outline permission to a scheme to build more than 800 homes and a new primary school at Olympia Park on Barlby Road.
