Design agency sets out on path of growth

A DESIGN agency is setting its sights on further growth, after investing in new premises and creating jobs.

The FDP Group – which is comprised of three businesses, F1 Print, Definitive Creative and Profile Web – said it hopes to double, possibly triple, its £1m turnover within the next three to five years.

Leeds-based FDP has moved into a 6,000sq ft factory in Armley, which is quadruple the size of its previous production area on Kirkstall Road. It says the move not only means the group can grow its team, but can also invest in extra machinery in the near future.

FDP, which invested around £100,000 in the new building and said it has plans to invest further, has increased its staff to 20, and will employ another five new people in the next 12 months.

The group works with businesses including Leeds-based The Phoenix Partnership (TPP), a provider of patient record software, Clarion and the NHS.
