Financial management firm sees turnover rise

A FINANCIAL management company is celebrating its fourth birthday with a 30% increase in turnover and plans to take on more staff.

Future Life Wealth Management, based in Sheffield, was set up in February 2010 by Jillian Thomas to offer a bespoke financial planning service to generators and receivers of wealth, such as business owners and retirees.

Based at the stable block at Renishaw Hall, the company’s turnover has increased 30% each year and staff numbers have gradually increased.  In 2014 there are plans to take on another adviser and an apprentice, bringing the total number of staff to eight.

Thomas, who is junior vice president of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: “I set the company up in the middle of a global financial crisis, but I believed it would work, because I took the time to plan carefully. This has certainly paid dividends with the success of the company.”

In March 2013 Future Life created a joint venture with Banner Jones, a legal practice based in north east Derbyshire and South Yorkshire.
