BSkyB eyes up options to take more space in Leeds

BROADCASTER BSkyB is eyeing up options for extra space in Leeds, according to reports.

According to property agents, the business has been looking at two different sites in the city centre and is close to making a decision. Reports suggest BskyB is looking for space between 70,000 sq ft and 100,000 sq ft.

However, a Sky spokesperson said: “Sky is a growing business with several operations in Leeds and the team continues to review opportunities to consolidate but has no confirmed plans.”

BskyB, which currently has space at Leeds’ Wellington Place scheme, is apparently working with global real estate advisors Cushman & Wakefield on the deal.
