Business guru Carl Hopkins to speak at York event
CARL Hopkins, marketing guru and star Channel 4’s TV series The Secret Millionaire is to appear at a business networking event in York.
The philanthropist will be talking about his new venture – JumbleAID – at a special meeting of the Network York Interchange on October 27th at Scarthingwell Golf Club.
Guests will hear why Mr Hopkins, who recently visited the former mining village of Easington in County Durham as part of The Secret Millionaire show, has opted to launch his new project – a web-based method for getting rid of unwanted items in aid of a chosen charity.
Network York organiser Anne Ma’aye said: “I am delighted that we’ve secured such a high-profile guest to speak at this event. I would like to extend an invitation to all business owners to take the advantage to come along, hear what Carl has to say and find out more about business networking.

The meeting runs from 5 pm to 7.30 pm, and will also include opportunities for attendees to network on a one-to-one basis to promote their businesses.
The cost of attending the event is £20, which includes a buffet and a glass of wine.
