Trio of contract wins for Redcentric

IT group Redcentric, which swooped for Yorkshire-based InTechnology last year in a £65m deal, has won a trio of contracts that it says will generate around £3m of revenue.

The first contract is for a global insurance brokerage and will see Redcentric deliver a hosted and fully managed Microsoft Lync platform which will service 1,400 users across 40 sites.

The second contract for an NHS Trust partner is a three year managed service contract delivering and supporting an enhanced IT infrastructure. The network will be used to support mobile clinical data applications and wireless voice. The contract has the potential to extend to include a second phase of rollout later in 2014, the group said.

Meanwhile a commercial property consultancy firm has signed a six year contract for Redcentric to manage an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution for a business critical application. Redcentric is working with the client to support its migration of a number of business critical applications into the cloud.

Tony Weaver, CEO of Redcentric, said: “We are delighted to announce a series of significant new, multi-year contracts for the group. These new contract wins are strong validation of our proposition to provide a wide variety of fully managed services and long term support services to our customers. We look forward to working with our clients as their trusted technology partner.”

Harrogate-based InTechnology Managed Services was acquired from founder Peter Wilkinson by AIM-listed Redcentric in November.
