Premier Farnell CEO bags top award

HARRIET Green, chief executive of Leeds electrical components
manufacturer Premier Farnell, has won top honours a the
International Stevie Awards for Women in Business.

Ms Green was named as best executive in Europe, Middle East and
Africa (EMEA) for companies with more than 2,500 eompoyees.

The awards, organised by the creators of the presitigious
American Business Awards, are hailed as the business world's
“Oscars”.

Ms Green said: “I am honoured to have been nominated and
selected as the 2007 recipient of this award.

“Premier Farnell is at an exciting stage in its development
and this recognition of the proress we are making is truly
gratifying.”
