Asda creates 300 new jobs with store opening

ASDA is creating more than 300 new jobs in Leeds following a multi-million pound development that will see a brand new store open next week.

The 36,000 sq ft store in Holme Well Road will incorporate a 25,000 sq ft Food Hall and a non-food section, such as home and technology.

Mark Buck, general store manager at the new Asda Middleton, said: “We’re really proud to be opening our new store in Middleton, creating more than 300 jobs and playing our part in the community. The number of job applications we have received so far is fantastic and we are still welcoming applications.”
