Samba spirit takes firm hold in Headingley

FOR the next month the Samba spirit will be taking a firm hold in Headingley as Leeds marketing agency Brass celebrates the 2014 World Cup by changing its name to Brassil for the duration of the tournament.

From today to 13 July 2014, the agency previously known as Brass will be re-branded as Brassil including a new domain name http://www.brassil.co.uk/   The whole agency is decorated to reflect its new Brassilian style and a host of fun events will be taking place every day including daily inter-agency penalty shoot outs in aid of Leeds Children’s Charity http://www.leedschildrenscharity.org.uk/ .

Manager of team Brassil, Morgincha,  otherwise known as chief executive, John Morgan said: “At Brass we love sport and we’re very excited about the World Cup so we decided to do something to bring it to life, have some fun and raise some much needed funds for a very deserving Leeds charity.

“When everyone came into work this morning they found Brass transformed into Brassil with fan packs for every member of staff to decorate their desks, home and away dressing rooms and the whole agency divided into world cup teams – to correspond with the teams taking part in the World Cup. Penalty shoot outs reflecting the World Cup fixtures – will kick off later today with Brazil v Croatia.”
