Yorkshire manufacturers relocate

A MANUFACTURER of specialist drive systems and a sign business have both relocated thanks to a Yorkshire property agent.
Gent Visick, the Leeds-based industrial property specialists, acquired a 10-acre site off Devilliers Way on the Normanton Industrial Estate and following the grant of planning permission a new 100,000 sq ft purpose built manufacturing and office facility has been constructed and commissioned for SEW Eurodrive.
It has also disposed of the freehold interest in SEW Eurodrive’s previous 71,762 sq ft factory site off Ripley Drive on the Normanton Estate. The building has been sold to Ashleigh Signs, which has been trading for more than 25 years, employs over 100 people and designs and manufactures internal and external signs primarily for the retail and leisure sectors in the UK and abroad.
Rupert Visick from Gent Visick added: “We were delighted to be able to assist SEW Eurodrive in their relocation to Trident Park and to have been able to sell their former site to another manufacturing company, thereby securing the continued manufacturing use of the property for the foreseeable future.”
