Bunnyfoot hops into Sheffield

RESEARCH consultancy Bunnyfoot has announced it is to open an office in Sheffield as part of its expansion plans.

Bunnyfoot Sheffield will initially open at a temporary office before transferring to its permanent site in March 2009 at Electric Works in the Digital Campus – a development designed to house creative and digital businesses.

The company specialises in using market analysis and customer-focused research programmes to help customers develop adverts, websites, products and services the public is seeking to access and buy.

The Sheffield office will originally open with three staff but as the business expands the company is aiming to increase this number.

Sheffield has been identified as a key city for Bunnyfoot – joining New York and Hong Kong as main target cities for 2008 and 2009.

Bunnyfoot works for a range of international clients, including the BBC, HM Revenue & Customs, the NHS, Virgin, RBS, Microsoft and several Government departments.

Bunnyfoot Sheffield managing director Alison Rawlings, said: “Sheffield has become a great hub for digital media in recent years we recognise the value of what has been created and its exciting future. We want to be part of that future. Electric Works is an exceptional building and the ideal place for us. It’s close to the station so we will be able to easily carry out ‘mass user testing’, a new approach to checking the ‘ease of use’ of products and services.”

Bunnyfoot was established in 1999 and currently employs 42 people across offices in Oxford, Edinburgh, London and Reading.
