Former Pace director launches new company

THE co-founder of Pace, Rob Fleming, has launched a new recruitment business.

Along with former Bradford-based Relay Recruitment business manager, Kate Hill, the pair have formed Cubed Resourcing, a recruiter for the electronics, FMCG manufacturing and related supply chain markets.

Headquartered in Wetherby, Cubed is the first of Fleming’s ambitious new portfolio of start-ups that work to his ‘expertise for equity’ concept. The business model, which will see entrepreneurs gradually acquire the companies they jointly establish with him, aims to encourage and mentor a new generation of owner managers across Yorkshire and the North.

Fleming helped take Saltaire-based set-top box maker and pay TV and broadband technology provider Pace from a back bedroom operation to a multinational company with global revenues of £1.2bn.
