Property People: Knight Frank; CBRE; Brewster Bye; Deloitte Real Estate

SURVEYOR Ben White has joined the agency and development team at commercial property agents Knight Frank in Sheffield.

White previously held roles at CBRE in Leeds, PPH Commercial in East Yorkshire and Foxtons in London.

He joins the team as senior surveyor and will work alongside Knight Frank partners Stephen Hodgson, Peter Whiteley and Rebecca Schofield in their agency and development roles working with clients and developers across the Sheffield City Region.

THE Leeds office of CBRE has appointed Rebecca Maddison as graduate surveyor within its office agency team.

Maddison has transferred from CBRE’s Bristol office and will be assisting the Leeds team with its growing number of Yorkshire and North East instructions.

LEEDS-based Brewster Bye Architects has made two promotions with Matt Seddon becoming an associate director and Gareth Jackson being promoted to associate.

Seddon has worked at Brewster Bye for 10 years and was previously an associate. He now heads up the firm’s commercial projects team and is also Brewster Bye’s quality assurance manager as well as overseeing the company’s IT requirements and infrastructure.

Jackson joined Brewster Bye six years ago as a senior architect and has established a strong reputation for creating standout affordable housing schemes, extra-care developments and community projects.

He was responsible for designing Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre (HEART) which won the RICS Pro Yorkshire Community Benefit Award last month and in his new role he will now lead projects as part of the firm’s management team.

DELOITTE Real Estate has boosted its Leeds team.

 

 

The Leeds office has welcomed Pete Gleave from ID Planning, Ellen Sanderson from Savills and Maria White to its planning department.

 

The new recruits join following reports of it being Leeds’ best year on record for office take-up within the city centre, with further expected growth in the wider region over the next year.
