York Data Services moves to larger offices

YORK Data Services (YDS) is moving to new, larger offices at York Science Park.
The business was the first company to move into York Science Parks’ IT Centre and now, 11 years later, will move to its new site on Innovation Close to accommodate its growing team which has doubled in size to ten people in the past two years.
The company was established in 2003 and its first contract was to provide connectivity and data services to the Science Parks’ new IT Centre building. It was subsequently appointed as the official supplier of these services to the whole of York Science Park and its customer base then developed to include other business parks and organisations with multiple occupancy buildings and sites in York, North Yorkshire, Leeds, Manchester and London.
Mark Fordyce, managing director of York Data Services, said: “We are delighted to be moving to our new, larger offices on Innovation Close, which will give us a great platform from which to support our growing client base and build our business, alongside maintaining the great relationships we have with other residents on York Science Park and beyond.”
York Data Services has moved from a 580 sq ft office to a new 1,600 sq ft site.
Tracey Smith, managing director, York Science Park added: “York Data Services is one of the great success stories of York Science Park and we are very happy that they have chosen to stay on the Science Park as they continue to expand.”
