Work starts on housing development

WORK has started on a new 20 acre, £45m housing development in Hull.

Persimmon Homes will be building 44 new properties as part of its first phase of a development which will ultimately bring 340 homes to Kingswood.

The launch of the new the Richmond Fields development has been brought forward following the popularity of its existing Kingswood site, Persimmon Pastures.

Kevin Thubron, sales director at Persimmon Homes Yorkshire, said: “Persimmon Pastures has been extremely well received with only a few remaining properties from the 140 homes we’ve built there, proving there is a high demand for new homes in the area. This success has accelerated the start of Richmond Fields.

“The new development is a continuation of the most successful house types from Persimmon Pastures so we are expecting there to be a lot of interest.”
