IT business expands headquarters

IT BUSINESS Blue Logic has expanded its headquarters to accommodate its growing team.

In the past six months the company has appointed 11 new staff, taking its employee count from 55 to 66.  It has invested in a 1,200 sq ft extension at its head office in Thorner, Leeds, which will create enough space for an additional 20 staff.

The new appointments follow a raft of new client wins – Blue Logic has added 57 new customers to its roster since the start of the year. Key client wins this year include Leeds-based law firm Clarion and Greenwoods Menswear, which join its current list of customers, such as Morrisons and the West Yorkshire Probation Trust.

The business is also on target to hit its turnover and profit forecasts ahead of the year end, following a successful 2013 which saw it increase turnover by £1m and profit by 35%.

Dave Helm, director at Blue Logic, said: “2014 has been a hugely successful year for us so far, and our order book and pipeline are also very strong. The office extension will allow us to comfortably house our existing employees, whilst also giving us space to take on further staff over the coming months.

“We are already planning on appointing another four employees in September, so we needed a space that will allow us to expand.”
