Law firm marks milestone

THE WETHERBY office of Stowe Family Law is celebrating its first anniversary.

Based in Oakdale House in the Market Place, the family law team says it has also recently seen a rise in demand for the firm’s wills and probate service.

The firm’s continued growth in Yorkshire is the latest chapter in the story of Stowe Family Law’s national success.

Founded in a converted cobbler’s shop in East Leeds in 1982, the firm has grown to become one of the UK’s largest specialist family law firms.

Its office in Wetherby is its third in Yorkshire, adding to operations in Harrogate and Leeds, in addition to offices in Central London, Hale and Wilmslow.

Solicitors at Stowe Family Law’s Wetherby office include two of the firm’s partners Hayley Edwards and Liz Bell.

Morna Rose, chief executive of Stowe Family Law said: “I am delighted with the success we have had in Wetherby. It was always our intention to make a lasting mark in the county and offer the kind of quality service usually expected from a city firm to Wetherby’s discerning clientele.

“We’re also very grateful to the welcome the local business community has given to us in our first year and we look forward to strengthening those ties still further in the months and years to come.

“Many of our clients and professional contacts are based in Wetherby and the town’s surrounding villages and, with our Yorkshire offices busier than ever, it made sense to open an additional office in the area last year.”
