Henderson opens tenth UK office

HENDERSON Insurance Brokers has opened an office in Ipswich as part of its national expansion plans.

The Leeds-based company said its first office in the South East – and its tenth in the UK – will be led by managing director Chris March and broking director Mike Cumbers.

Founder and chief executive Joe Henderson said: “Chris March and Mike Cumbers have extensive experience in construction, property ownership and manufacturing. With their strong local knowledge they are well placed to further build the Ipswich office and extend the Henderson brand with its emphasis on quality client services throughout the South East.

“Henderson has set itself some very ambitious targets over the next 12 months and in spite of the current economic downturn we are confident that we will further grow our business based on our dedication to the highest quality service and the best price for our clients.”

Henderson has seen profits grow by 57% to £3.4m and was recently named as one of the country’s top ten brokers.
