Leeds City Region flies the flag at MIPIM UK

LEEDS City Region leaders will attend MIPIM UK this week to set out the potential of the region to investors.

The Leeds City Region delegation at MIPIM UK, the forum for property professionals looking to close deals in the UK market, will demonstrate to potential investors that the city region is investment ready and driving sustainable growth.

A central element of the city region programme will see decision makers from across the North coming together to set out their intentions on driving devolution, the importance of regional collaboration and accelerating improved connectivity to enable continued growth across the North.

Roger Marsh, chair of Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership, said: “MIPIM UK is a prime opportunity for Leeds City Region to highlight its varied and extensive investment potential to a private sector audience. We will demonstrate the importance of the City Region in growing the national economy, setting out our Strategic Economic Plan that we believe will drive extraordinary economic growth across the whole of the UK.”

MIPIM UK is led by Leeds and Partners on behalf of the LEP and will see Bradford, Calderdale, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Wakefield and York collaborate to highlight the unique investment, development and occupier opportunities in the region, specifically those surrounding HS2, the Northern Hub and the potential for devolution.
