Global business moves into Pinnacle Leeds

GLOBAL business Schlumberger has taken an office lease at Pinnacle Leeds.
Schlumberger, an integrated project management, technology and information company, which supplies businesses in sectors including the oil and gas industry worldwide, has its main national headquarters in Paris, Houston, London and The Hague. It reported $45.27bn revenue in 2013 and employs about 126,000 people, from more than 140 nationalities, in more than 85 countries.
Schlumberger has taken 5,100 sq ft of space on the 13th floor of the Pinnacle Tower, which is undergoing a £6m upgrade and was acquired by Moorfield Group (Moorfield), London, on behalf of Moorfield Real Estate Fund II, in 2011.
Speaking for the partnership between Holbeck Land and Moorfield Group responsible for Pinnacle, Holbeck Land, director, Robert Firth, said: “We’re very pleased that Pinnacle meets the criteria of a major global business such as Schlumberger, which has offices worldwide, and to help create a presence for the company in Yorkshire.”
Among other Pinnacle office occupiers are Optimisa Research, re-structuring and recovery business, FRP Advisory; actuaries, Barnett Waddingham; highway consultants, Steer Davis Gleave, and HM Courts & Tribunal Service.
Retail and leisure tenants in Pinnacle Podium include Joy, Superdrug, Moss Bros, Next, Pret a Manger, Wish, Greggs, Roxy Lanes and Tesco Express.
