Marketing consultancy expands

FULL service marketing agency Principles Agency, part of the Principles Communications Group, has appointed three new members of staff and created two new positions as part of its expansion strategy.

Simon Anderson, the Leeds-based agency’s senior copywriter, has been promoted to the new role of deputy creative director.

Account director Rebecca Nichells has been appointed as new business development director. She will work alongside the senior management and client account teams to develop the business across a wide range of sectors.

John Hebden joins as account manager from Harrogate-based The Whole Caboodle and will help to manage the day-to-day campaign and project needs of the Ronseal, McCains, Sun Valley and Ultralase accounts.

Kay Barnes-Forster comes on board as account executive from the Institute of Physics where she was a programme co-ordinator. She will work across a range of client accounts including Redcats, JD Williams and Hallmark.

Michael Campbell joins as planner, as part of the agency’s brand strategy team. He comes from the Dubit Agency and has previously worked for the Australian communications giant Telstra, and the Leeds Guide.

Managing director Mike Hackett said: “These appointments form part of our plan to strategically grow the agency’s existing and new client business.”
