YABL dinner gets bigger and better in 2015

THE fourth annual Yorkshire Asset Based Lending Dinner will see more than 600 of the North’s leading financiers and lenders converge on the Royal Armouries in Leeds on March 26.
Organised by Ethos Corporate Finance in aid of local causes, this year’s event will aim to raise tens of thousands of pounds for the Candlelighters children’s cancer charity.
Already, more than half of the available tables have been pre-booked for the event, which has moved to the Armouries for the first time this year after selling out for three consecutive years at the Queens Hotel.
To date the annual dinner has raised over £50,000 in donations, and is now one of the Yorkshire finance community’s biggest annual events.
Ethos Corporate Finance partner and event organiser Chris Silverwood said:  “The support of the lending and finance community makes this a really fantastic evening of business and good causes, and we’re pleased that, with the move to a larger venue, we will be able to accommodate many of the people who were disappointed last year.”
TheBusinessDesk.com, and main dinner sponsor, Ultimate Finance, are among the organisations supporting the 2015 event, which will once again be hosted by the BBC’s Harry Gration.
“Chris and the Ethos team do a fantastic job every year with this event, and we are always delighted to support with the fundraising efforts,” said Nick Smith, group sales director of Ultimate Finance.
“As ever we hope that firms will be able to provide some extraordinary ‘money can’t buy’ raffle and auction prizes to boost the coffers and raise much needed cash for Candlelighters,” he added.
Businesses wishing to donate prizes to the auction of experiences can contact the organisers at ek@ethoscf.com or telephone 0113 887 9749.
