Business park sells for £4.75m

A BUSINESS park in the Calder Valley has been sold off an asking price of £4.75m.

The Leeds office of chartered surveyors Eddisons completed the sale of the Caldene Business Park in Mytholmroyd to Industrials.co.uk.

Eddisons acted on behalf of private vendors who developed the park.

The former Caldene Clothing Company (Calderdale) site on the A646 Yorkshire to Lancashire trunk road extends to around 3.5 acres and comprises 23 modern light industrial and warehouse units.

Tenants at the majority let park include SGL Carbon Fibres, Nobilia GB and Stokers.

Steven Jones, associate director at Eddisons said: “This is a well located high specification estate off the M62, built as recently as 2007.

“There is limited industrial availability of this kind of stock in the Calder Valley which makes it popular with a wide range of tenants.

“We are delighted to have completed the sale and achieved a price for our client which is close to the original asking price.”

Industrials.co.uk was advised by the Leeds office of Ryden.

Matthew Edwards, regional managing partner of Ryden, said: “Caldene Business Park provides good quality space and represents our fourth industrial estate acquisition on behalf of industrials.co.uk.”
