CONVENIENCE retailer Costcutter has appointed Leeds-based media agency Boutique to handle its media strategy.

Director of Boutique, Simon Bollon, said: “This is a brilliant win for us; a client that saw the value in our ‘think and do better’ proposition. Our approach is around matching products with audience and utilising the most pertinent media in a new and creative manner.

DIGITAL agency IDHL Group, which comprises WMG, Ingenuity Digital and NetConstruct, has made a key appointment to strengthen its marketing and communications strategies as it prepares for the next phase of growth.

Andy Watson joins as head of group marketing and will be responsible for developing and delivering strategic marketing plans for the three companies, ensuring an integrated approach and focusing on the synergies between WMG, Ingenuity Digital and NetConstruct.

With 15 years’ marketing experience, he has held positions within FMCG, insurance, accountancy, property development and technology sectors, joining IDHL Group from the specialist research and business consultancy firm, Futuresource Consulting where he was responsible for all aspects of the company’s marketing mix.

MANCHESTER PRIDE has appointed Hebden Bridge-based agency Ayup Digital as its new digital partner.

The agency has been tasked with improving the organisation’s online presence and developing the user experience culminating in the re-development of the main website.

Ayup has already launched a website to support Superbia, Pride’s annual programme of culture.
