New deputy editor for TheBusinessDesk.com
THEBUSINESSDESK.COM has appointed a deputy editor for Yorkshire.
Clare Burnett has joined this week having previously been editor for Bdaily business news in Yorkshire, based in the North East.
As Yorkshire editor she launched the online publication in the region, before being promoted to editor overseeing its expansion into four more regions, as well as developing the social media strategy for the business.
Ms Burnett joins at an exciting time for the company, which is enjoying record readership levels in Yorkshire and is preparing to roll out a number of exciting changes in the months ahead.

A new website will be unveiled in the next few months and our summer event will be launched shortly, to follow on from the successful 2015 Business Masters awards evening last month.
Readership figures are increasing, with more people signed up than ever before, which alongside a large social media audience is helping to drive traffic to the site. Last month showed a 22% increase on February 2014, with the site on target to receive more than 3m page views this year.
