Keepmoat collaborates on Bradford residential development

THE property arm of the Kelda Group has agreed the sale of a Bradford site which is to be developed into 58 homes.
Keyland Developments Ltd, also the sister-company to Yorkshire Water, is selling the 3.4 acre vacant site with residential consent at Chellow Grange Road in Bradford to Home Group.
Housing provider and social enterprise Home Group, which has a turnover of £325m, has acquired the land for the creation of 58 affordable homes to be developed by housebuilder Keepmoat.
The site is next to existing homes and close to West Bradford Golf Course and Chellow Heights Water Works and Reservoir.
Ryan Unsworth, development manager at Keyland Developments, said: “This land sale will bring back into use a redundant site which, due to its scale and surroundings, is ideally suited to residential development.
“The agreement with Keepmoat and Home Group will provide a much-needed contribution to the affordable housing needs of the Bradford area.”
Martin Smithurst, regional managing director at Keepmoat, said: “This development will bring much-needed new affordable homes for families in the area, and Keepmoat is very proud to be a part of it.”
Work is expected to start on site in the spring, with completion scheduled for 2016.
