New chef and eating concept for the Radisson Blu Hotel Leeds
MANOJ Nair has arrived in the kitchens of the Radisson Blu Hotel Leeds from its Belfast counterpart where he has been Sous Chef for the last four years overseeing the popular Filini restaurant created and inspired by Roy Ackerman.
Born in India and with a varied background and flare for European fusion cooking, Manoj is keen to introduce his own style and menus into the hotels busy restaurant and bar.
The Lounge Restaurant and Bar is a popular choice for many of Leeds’ city workers and dwellers as well as hotel residents and is synonymous for serving locally-sourced produce beautifully transformed into delicious dishes and desserts that is almost art.
The new concept will incorporate a quicker, yet still high quality lunch offering.
Taking the best ideas from the ever popular coffee houses and combining them with our own focus the team will be able to offer great paninis, bagels, wraps, cakes, pastries, speciality coffees, smoothies and the classic burgers, salads and soups to meet all tastes. All food can be ordered, served and eaten within a guaranteed 45 minutes in comfortable and ambient surroundings.
Dinner service endeavours to offer a simplistic, yet elegant menu, encapsulating Manoj’s wealth of culinary knowledge and his own style of cooking. With set prices for 2 and 3 courses accompanied by a fantastic cocktail, mocktail and wine menu, the A La Carte menu will be supported by specials of the day.
