SME accountancy firm acquires its premises

SME accountancy firm GL Barker and Co has purchased and undertaken a major refurbishment of its Cross Gates offices in Leeds, which has been able to acquire in full.

Established in 1987, the firm was able to complete the revamp with help from NatWest. The firm modernised the office to cope with growth after bringing staff numbers to 15.

Peter Holleran, designated member, said: “It was the right time for us to buy the property. By having our own premises we can better adapt them to meet the needs of the business which will allow us to continue to serve our clients.

“NatWest have been very good to work with on this purchase as they have provided excellent support that was forward thinking and coincided with our business goals.”
