HQ move for Hangar Seven

CONTENT creation firm Hangar Seven has expanded its Leeds operation, taking 20,000 sq ft of space in Holbeck.

In a deal brokered by commercial property consultancy Lambert Hampton Smith, the adjoining units at Emanual Trading Estate in Holbeck will become the new home of the firm, which is relocating from Burley Road, Leeds.

With sites in Macclesfield, Cheshire, London and Portugal, the firm works with retail and consumer brands, including Asda, a major client of the firm.

Simon Hill, senior industrial and logistics surveyor at LSH’s Leeds office, said: “This is an ambitious and growing business that has been increasing its presence in the city, both organically and through acquisition, over the past few years.

“Hangar Seven previously had a smaller unit off Kirkstall Road in the city and decided to consolidate these into a much bigger space that would allow it to continue to grow and service a significant client base in the north and across Yorkshire, including Asda, which is based just half a mile from the new premises.

“Supply of this kind of accommodation in Leeds in the location that Hanger Seven were looking for is tight so these recently refurbished units presented the perfect opportunity.”

LSH acted as joint agents on the scheme representing the landlord Industrial Property Investment Fund.
