Marketing agency rebrand hopes to Bewonder retail sector

A MAGICAL transformation took place with the help of Bradford-born illusionist Dynamo as Leeds marketing agency JLL Retail Marketing became Bewonder*.

Five years ago the agency was two people working in house at property consultants JLL. It has grown to a full-service retail marketing team of 35 people, 28 of whom are based in Leeds, which turns over £4.5m.

“The brand and getting across what we are trying to do has been very difficult,” said Kaye Walker, head of Bewonder*.

“JLL is a property brand and we want to service our clients as a marketing agency.

“It marks the changes that have already happened. The growth in the team and in turnover. We also have more change planned in growing even further.

The team plans to expand into new sectors and diversify require a new name and identity to operate competitively within their sector.

The new identity is designed to help the agency compete, although it will remain wholly owned by JLL.

“This is a befitting way to announce an exciting and important change in the business,” said Guy Grainger, chief executive of JLL, of the glamorous London launch which included star guest Dynamo.
 
“The retail marketing team has in recent years grown from strength to strength and is an asset to our business.”

Ms Walker added: “As the business expands and diversifies we need a brand that encapsulates the creativity of our offer.

“We’re vibrant and visionary, inquisitive and intelligent, with a burning desire to understand our clients and their worlds so that we can deliver results that are 100% relevant, not just brilliant.”
